Garlic has a distinctive flavor, but when roasted, it becomes wonderfully soft and aromatic. Perfect for a creamy, warming soup on cold autumn and winter days.

With a few handy Tupperware kitchen gadgets, you can easily make this soup yourself!

🥣 Ingredients

● 2 whole garlic bulbs

● 1 tablespoon olive oil

● Salt and pepper to taste

● 4 tablespoons water

● 4 tablespoons butter

● 1 onion

● 1 teaspoon thyme

● 4 tablespoons sherry vinegar

● 300 ml water

● 1 chicken bouillon cube

For serving: crème fraîche, fresh parsley and croutons.

👨🍳 Preparation

Step 1 – Roast the garlic with the Tupperware Micro Pro Grill

Remove the cloves from the two garlic bulbs, but leave the skin on.

Place them in the Tupperware Micro Pro Grill and mix with the olive oil, salt and pepper. Use a Tupperware silicone spatula for this.

Add 60 ml of water to fill the Micro Pro Grill tray. Place the lid in the top position.

Roast the garlic in the microwave at 900 watts for about 10 minutes.

💡 Roasting gives the garlic its delicious, mild flavor.

Step 2 – Prepare the roasted garlic

Let the garlic cloves cool slightly and carefully remove the skin.

Mix the roasted garlic with the remaining water and set aside.

Step 3 – Sauté the onion and thyme

Peel and finely chop the onion.

Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the onion and thyme.

Sauté over medium heat for about 5 minutes.

Step 4 – Simmer the soup

Add the roasted garlic, sherry vinegar, water and chicken bouillon cube.

Mix everything together well, cover the pan and let the soup simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes.

Step 5 – Blend with the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Extra

Let the soup cool slightly first.

Then use the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Extra to blend the soup into a smooth, creamy texture.

Work in smaller batches if necessary and follow the appliance's operating instructions.

Step 6 – Serve and enjoy!

Taste the soup and season further with salt and pepper if necessary.

Finish with a splash of crème fraîche, some fresh parsley and a few crispy croutons.

Enjoy! 😋
